I had the opportunity to put these new Predator Downrigger rods to the extreme test this past summer battling large King Salmon out of Scarborough Bluffs. To say I was impressed is an understatement as these rods performed flawlessly under the extreme pressure of large nasty kings at the other end. These rods have the perfect amount of backbone and yet a soft enough tip to really get that bend I like while on the downrigger. Our biggest salmon this summer at 31.6lb really put this rod to the test and I am proud to use these on my charter boat. Great quality and great price point.
