Amazing rod with great backbone and nice sensitive tip. I use my 42" PSS42M Medium action rod on Simcoe for Whitefish and Lakers, and have no problem muscling them up with this rod.

I use both 34" and 28" medium action. Great product and very durable. Sensitive tip will detect the slightest bite from a finicky whitefish. A must have for all serious hardwater anglers

Purchased the 42" Predator Ice Rod for targeting Lake Trout. The medium action of this rod really helps keep the fish pinned when their head starts thrashing.

I've been using these ice rods perch and walleye fishing for going on 3 seasons now, and I do not leave for the lake without them. They're comfortable in hand, you feel every hit, and the longer rods (PSS42M) are great for really finessing your bait on those days where big jigs just aren't working and you still want a backbone to set the hook!

I've added this rod this season and am very happy with it. Short handle has a great balance and if you're like me, I constantly work the lure and never put the rod down. Super when I'm in my single pop up hut when space is at a premium.
